There are many reasons for a brand to have a distinct and worthy logo- form communicating with the audience, to building brand identity, to inculcating trust, a logo does much more than just give a face to the brand.
Marketers adopt various styles in order to make their company of product logos stand out. Logos also convey brand philosophies, meanings, or are even mere representations of the company’s products.

1. Audi
Audi, DKW, Horch and Wanderer merged to form Auto Union AG. The company needed a new logo and thus came into being the iconic four interlocking rings which is the instantly recognizable Audi logo.
2. Pinterest
The name ‘Pinterest’ is a portmanteau of two words- Pin and Interest. The name was assigned to direct users to pin their interests and the logo has a ‘P’ embedded in its design, suggestive of ‘pinning’ action.
3. LG
While everyone notices the letters ‘L’ and ‘G’ inherent in the logo, very few will notice it to be resembling a face, with the ‘L’ being the nose and ‘G’ being the face.
4. Yoga Australia
The makers have cleverly embedded a picture of the Australian continent, in between the arm and leg of the girl in the logo’s design.
5. Hyundai
The logo appears a slanted and impactful ‘H’, but on looking closely will one notice that is represents two people shaking hands with each other.
6. Levi’s
An inverted crown shaped logo, it actually represents the classic cut-out of Levi’s pockets.
7. Continental
Its logo aesthetically represents what it sells. The ‘C’ and ‘O’ have been designed in a way to highlight a tire.
8. Hershey’s Kisses
Loved by everyone in the world, Hershey’s Kisses is known for its distinctly shaped chocolate treats. The logo too incorporates this design of its iconic chocolate. Look closely between the letters ‘K’ and ‘I’.
9. Museum of London
A colorful one, it holds the different shape of London all through history, in its vibrant logo.
10. Gillette
A simple but impactful logo. The tittle of the letter ‘I’ depicts a razor-sharp cut representing blade precision, that the product promises to offer.
11. Nintendo GameCube
The logo is an obvious representation of a cube, but it also has letters ‘G’ and ‘C’ embedded in it.
12. Cisco
Cisco’s logo design resembles sound waves and also depicts the two towers of Golden Bridge in San Francisco, the city in which it originated.
13. Tour De France
The epic cycling event in the world, its logo represents a cycler rising his cycle depicted by the two ‘O’s’ in the logo.
14. Formula 1
The negative space between the letters in the logo presents the number 1.
15. boAt
‘Plug into nirvana’ is the brand’s slogan, and according to the founders, ‘When you take a boat, you leave everything behind’. The logo has a visible boat in the letter ‘A’ of its name.
