Mindshare Mumbai Has Been Ranked 3rd Best Media Agency In The World

India has been growing well in the field of marketing and advertising. Thanks to the creative minds working in the advertising companies, India is now making it’s in the international market too. Gunn Media 100 is the global team that makes lists of best ad agencies of the world every year and in the 2018 report, Mumbai branch of Mindshare has managed to achieve the 3rd rank.

It is a proud moment for everyone working in this industry in India, as such moments give the motivation to do well in future too. MediaCom, which is also from Mumbai been ranked 7th.

Three main points can be taken from the success of the top agencies and these are:-
1. Data is helping to get fresh media thinking and the best campaigns are made by using data in the correct way. Brands are looking to deliver competitive advantage by studying multiple data resources.

2. Events based marketing helps brands to stand out from the crowd. Marketers are showing interest in major events such as Super Bowl, Olympics.

3. Partnerships in marketing campaigns are helping brands to rich more audience as it involves the fans and customers of both companies that have come together in ads.

The best campaign of the year, according to this list is McDonald’s ‘Capacity Based McDelivery’ by OMD Singapore agency. To retain its place in Singapore, McDonald’s promoted McDelivery which is the name of its delivery service in Singapore. McDonald’s target maximum audience by partnering with Gooogle for this service and lived up to the expectations of customers perfectly.

First time, Gunn Media 100 has made a ranking list of holding companies too. WPP tops the list, with 3 of its networks – MediaCom, Mindshare Worldwide and Wavemaker. Omnicom Group and Interpublic Group are on 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Talking about this achievement, the Global Chairman of MediaCom, Stephen Allan said,

“This is an outstanding achievement, of which I am extremely proud. Every single person throughout the MediaCom network has contributed to our success and has truly embraced our philosophy of Systems Thinking to great effect.”

Nike achieved the top position with four campaigns featured in the top 100 list. McDonald’s is at 2nd, followed by Snickers and Dove.
