In the age of tech and the internet, people have all the knowledge of the world in the palm of their hands, literally. For all of our problems, we have found one solution, Google.

This is the ‘Google It’ generation and people will search for almost anything and everything on it. Through the site, one can get answers to some of the most confusing questions.

But what people look for the most online is their medical symptoms and what could it mean. People search for their symptoms online first and then go see their doctors. And once they are there, they tend to share their knowledge more out of concern.

While it is natural to be curious about one’s health, this has become the cause of agitation for many medical professionals out there.

There have been times when the doctors have literally scolded their patients for overdiagnosing or self-assessing themselves.
