Luckily, these big essential supply chains are now planning to hire thousands of employees to keep up with the ever-growing influx. We have listed some of the companies that are going to hire shortly.

Walmart

Grocery items ar Lehigh in demand right now. Since most people can’t go outside as before, half of the household supplies have to be delivered at home. Personnel is required at every step and hence Walmart is trying to up its game. The company has declared to hire 1,500,000 people for different roles. These positions include full time, part tie and temporary jobs so as to feed all the individuals and help them take care of their families.

Amazon

The business has taken a raise ever since the coronavirus pandemic has spread all over the world. Amazon, the largest e-commerce portal is now delivering goods everywhere and is looking to hire at least 100,000 more individuals for various positions in the coming months. “We also know many people have been economically impacted as jobs in areas like hospitality, restaurants, and travel are lost or furloughed as part of this crisis,” the company said in a statement on its website. “We want those people to know we welcome them on our teams until things return to normal and their past employer is able to bring them back.”

PepsiCo

In addition to providing employment for at least 7000 employees on the months to come, PepsiCo wants to give them additional benefits and perks of association with the company. PepsiCo’s CEO and Chairman Ramon Laguarta said, “We couldn’t be prouder of our PepsiCo team for the role they play in restocking pantries and refrigerators,”

Dominos

Hunger pangs are obvious during this quarantine period. Hence, Dominos wants to keep up with the demand for its popular pizzas by hiring more delivery executives, pizza makers and customer relationship executives. The company is set to hire 1000 more employees shortly. “The opportunity to keep feeding our neighbours through delivery and carryout means that a small sense of normalcy is still available to everyone,” Domino’s CEO Richard Allison said in a statement. “Our corporate and franchise stores want to make sure they’re not only feeding people but also providing an opportunity to those looking for work at this time, especially those in the heavily impacted restaurant industry.”

Papa John’s

Papa John’s is one of the largest pizza chains in the world and is no wonder coming up with 20,000 new openings for individuals. “For anyone looking for immediate ways to earn an income, we’re making it quick and simple to apply, interview and be hired at Papa John’s,” Marvin Boakye, Papa John’s chief people and diversity officer, said in a statement. “We are in a unique position — as a restaurant that specializes in delivery and carryout — to help our communities through this crisis.”
