Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has appointed Bhaven Bhatt as President – Corporate Affairs. His career spans more than 27 years across corporate affairs, stakeholder engagement and strategic relations.
He announced the new role via LinkedIn.
Prior to joining RIL, Bhatt served as Resident Director – CRG Group, Gujarat at Essar Group from December 2017 to June 2026. During this period, he also held the additional responsibility of Resident Director – Gujarat & CEO, Essar Bulk Terminal Salaya Limited from December 2017 to February 2021.
Earlier, he was Vice President – Corporate Relations at Essar Group from April 2008 to December 2017, leading the company’s corporate and government relations initiatives.
Before Essar, Bhatt worked as Senior Manager at Adani Enterprises between June 2004 and April 2008. He began his career at Metdist Industries, where he served as Manager – Coordination from January 1999 to June 2004.
