Namratha B Swamy has concluded her five-year stint at Mobile Premier League (MPL), where she most recently served as Chief Operating Officer. In the role, she has overseen the company’s operations and business growth while leading teams through expansion, organisational transformation, and strategic initiatives. Before becoming COO in April 2023, she served as Country Head (GM), India.
Swamy has shared the update through a LinkedIn post, reflecting on her journey at MPL and thanking the company’s founders, board members, and colleagues.
Prior to joining MPL in August 2021, Swamy has spent over seven years at McKinsey & Company. She has most recently served as Associate Partner from October 2019 to August 2021 after serving as Engagement Manager between October 2017 and September 2019, Associate from May 2016 to September 2017, and Junior Associate from August 2014 to April 2016. Earlier, she has also worked as a Summer Analyst at McKinsey & Company from April 2013 to May 2013.
Before her consulting career, Swamy has worked as a Software Engineer at AllGo Embedded Systems from August 2010 to June 2012, where she has contributed to device driver development, video analytics algorithms, embedded applications, and ARM platform development. She has also completed a project with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) from January 2010 to April 2010, focusing on image processing techniques for reducing noise in satellite imagery.
