Abbott has appointed Shefali Singh as Head of Marketing. In her new role, she has been entrusted with leading the company’s marketing strategy, driving brand growth, overseeing product marketing initiatives, and strengthening market positioning across its portfolio.
Singh has shared the update on her LinkedIn profile, announcing that she has started a new position as Head of Marketing at Abbott.
Prior to this appointment, Singh has spent over four years at Abbott. She has most recently served as Marketing Manager from August 2024 to June 2026, following her tenure as Group Product Manager from March 2022 to August 2024. She has now transitioned to the role of Head of Marketing in July 2026.
Before joining Abbott, Singh has worked at Alembic Pharmaceuticals for over four years across multiple leadership roles. She has served as Group Product Manager from December 2021 to March 2022, Senior Product Manager from April 2021 to November 2021, Product Manager from July 2019 to March 2021, and Assistant Product Manager from February 2018 to June 2019, where she has contributed to product strategy and marketing, including the Cardio-Diabeto division.
Earlier in her career, Singh has worked as a Product Executive at Mankind Pharma from July 2016 to January 2018. She has also served as an Assistant Professor at Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions from September 2013 to June 2016 before transitioning into the pharmaceutical marketing industry.
