Havas has appointed Raphaël de Andréis as its Chief Strategy Officer, expanding his responsibilities beyond his current role as CEO, Western Europe.
The newly created position underscores Havas’ ambition to become the most client-centric and AI-enabled network, in line with its “Growth, Powered by Desire” positioning. Reporting directly to Chairman and CEO Yannick Bolloré, de Andréis will work closely with leaders across Havas’ Creative, Media, Health and Content at Scale networks to shape the group’s global strategy, guide its brand portfolio roadmap and accelerate alignment across its Havas Villages.
In his new role, de Andréis will focus on bringing together creativity, data, technology and execution within a single integrated vision, powered by the group’s operating system, Converged.AI. He will also be responsible for ensuring strategic consistency across the organisation and driving greater collaboration between networks and disciplines to deliver enhanced value for clients.
The appointment is expected to support a more efficient delivery model while strengthening Havas’ market differentiation and reinforcing the group’s focus on strategic relevance, operational convergence and measurable business impact.
De Andréis brings extensive experience spanning creative, media and content. He began his career at TBWA before joining Havas-owned BETC in 1996, where he rose to become President in 2007 and helped establish the agency as one of the world’s most creative shops. He later joined Canal+ as Executive Vice President before returning to Havas in 2013 as CEO of Havas Media Network France and President of Havas Productions.
As a member of Havas’ Executive Committee, he has played a key role in leading the integration and development of Havas Village France and supporting business growth across Western Europe. He has also been instrumental in shaping Havas’ strategic positioning, “Growth Powered by Desire.”
Beyond his corporate roles, de Andréis is also an author, having written two novels, AIR (2019) and MER (2022), which explore themes of technological and environmental transformation.
