Pocket FM has appointed Abhilash Padival as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening its leadership team as the company has continued its global expansion plans.
Padival has taken charge of Pocket FM’s global finance organisation and has overseen financial strategy, capital allocation, business planning, investor relations, compliance and corporate governance. He has also been responsible for strengthening the company’s financial foundation as it has expanded internationally and invested in AI-powered storytelling.
Padival has joined Pocket FM from Bank of America, where he has spent more than seven years, most recently leading the Consumer Internet Investment Banking practice. During his tenure, he has advised Indian startups on IPOs, private capital raises and strategic mergers and acquisitions.
Before Bank of America, he has held leadership roles across corporate strategy, investments and mergers and acquisitions at Quess Corp, Altisource, Avendus Capital and Cyient. He has brought nearly two decades of experience across finance, corporate strategy and business transformation.
His appointment has come as Pocket FM has continued to expand its global presence, invest in its AI-powered content ecosystem and strengthen investments across technology, creators and international markets.
