Tata Communications has appointed Rupesh Chokshi as Executive Vice President and Global Business Head – Network Services and Chief Technology Officer, and Vivek Srivastava as Executive Vice President and Business Head – Cloud and Cyber Security Services. Both executives have joined the company’s Global Management Committee.
The appointments have strengthened Tata Communications’ leadership across its network infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity businesses as the company has continued to expand its enterprise technology capabilities.
Chokshi has brought over 25 years of experience across networking, cloud connectivity, cybersecurity and software-defined infrastructure. He has most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Application Security at Akamai Technologies. Prior to that, he has held senior leadership positions at AT&T.
In his new role, Chokshi has taken charge of Tata Communications’ Network Services business, where he has been tasked with shaping product strategy, advancing AI-led network innovation and strengthening the company’s global digital infrastructure capabilities.
Srivastava has brought more than 27 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and digital transformation. He has joined Tata Communications from Fortinet, where he has served as Country Manager for India and the SAARC region.
Over the course of his career, Srivastava has also held leadership roles at CrowdStrike, Cisco and IBM. At Tata Communications, he has assumed responsibility for expanding the company’s cloud and cybersecurity portfolio for enterprise customers.
The appointments have aligned with Tata Communications’ strategy to strengthen its network, cloud and cybersecurity offerings while supporting enterprise digital transformation and AI-led infrastructure requirements.
