Adobe has appointed Shamik Basu as Vice President, Creative Products Group in India. Based in Noida, he has taken charge of leading the company’s engineering and product management teams and has reported to Ely Greenfield, Chief Technology Officer, Creative Products Group. He has also become part of Adobe India’s leadership team, focusing on advancing innovation and growth in the market.
In this role, Basu has been working closely with global teams across products such as Adobe Firefly, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom and Premiere. He has been responsible for strengthening India’s role across creativity and productivity initiatives while contributing to global product development.
Prior to this, Basu has spent over three decades building large-scale software platforms. Most recently, he has worked at Microsoft, where he has led advancements in performance, reliability and AI-powered experiences for global users.
