Arvind RP has stepped down from McDonald’s India, where he most recently served as Chief Business Officer. In this role, he managed the P&L for the company’s South business, overseeing store operations, marketing, new store development, HR and training.
He announced this move via a LinkedIn post.
Prior to this, Arvind RP served as Chief Marketing Officer at McDonald’s India from July 2020 to March 2025, where he led marketing, digital and e-commerce initiatives, along with brand leadership, category development and innovation for the company’s South and West markets.
Earlier, Arvind RP was Head – Marketing at McDonald’s India between January 2019 and July 2020.
Before that, Arvind RP was associated with Kaya for over six years between January 2013 and January 2019, where he served as Vice President – Marketing and led brand repositioning and omnichannel growth initiatives.
Prior to this, Arvind RP worked at Levi Strauss & Co. as Head of Marketing between August 2009 and January 2013.
Earlier in his career, Arvind RP held the role of Group Product Manager at Britannia Industries from March 2008 to August 2009.
He began his career at TVS Motor Company, where he spent nearly nine years in multiple roles across marketing, sales and consumer insights between 1999 and 2008.
In addition to his corporate roles, Arvind RP also serves as a Board Member of the India Council at MMA Global.
