Dassault Systèmes has appointed Bijuraj Balakrishnan as Chief Executive Officer of Global Services in India. In this role, he has been tasked with leading the company’s global services organisation in the country, focusing on delivery operations and supporting the adoption of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and virtual twin technologies.
Balakrishnan has brought over 24 years of experience at Dassault Systèmes and has worked across multiple functions including research and development, consulting services and human resources. He has started his career with the company as a software engineer and has spent 13 years in the research and development division of the ENOVIA brand, where he has worked on product engineering and team leadership.
He has later moved into a cross-functional role as India HR Director, where he has overseen people strategy for employees working across research and development and services functions. In his current role, he has been focusing on strengthening the company’s global services operations in India and supporting the transition of legacy and on-premise customers to cloud-based platforms.
