Bandhan AMC has appointed Mayur Vasa as its Chief Technology Officer. Vasa brings over two decades of rich technology experience and a strong digital-first mindset. This move is a decisive step towards advancing the firm’s digital vision for the future.
The company announced his appointment in a recent LinkedIn post.
Sharing his thoughts on the news, Vasa thanked the firm and said he looks forward to building and scaling the organisation’s success through its next phase of innovation.
In his new role from February 2026, Vasa will lead strategic technology and digital transformation. He will drive the adoption of artificial intelligence while overseeing systems architecture, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity compliance.
Before joining Bandhan AMC, Vasa spent over four years at Marsh. He most recently served there as the Digital Leader and Senior Vice President. In that role, he formed the strategic digital and AI plans for India, the Middle East, and Africa.
Prior to that, he worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance for nearly seven years as Senior Vice President and Head of IT Applications and Digital. Before Liberty, he was the Associate Vice President of Technology at ICICI Lombard from 2012 to 2014.
Vasa built his strong foundation with a long career at Tech Mahindra lasting over 14 years. Starting as a Senior Software Engineer in 1997 in London, he eventually rose to become the Group Head of their Business Intelligence Practice in India by 2010.
