Meta has appointed Aman Jain as Head of Public Policy for India. The company has announced that Jain will join early next year and has taken charge of leading Meta’s public policy strategy and stakeholder engagements in the country. He has reported to Simon Milner, Vice President of Policy, Asia Pacific, and has joined Meta’s India leadership team.
In this role, Jain has been responsible for shaping Meta’s policy approach across India, with a focus on regulatory engagement and government relations. His appointment has come as Meta continues to strengthen its public policy leadership in the market.
Jain has brought over two decades of experience in public policy and business strategy. He has previously worked with Amazon, Google, the Government of India, and international organisations. At Google India, he has held senior leadership positions, including Country Head for Government Affairs and Public Policy. Most recently, he has served as Director of Public Policy at Amazon, where he has led policy strategy across areas such as marketplace, operations, competition, and technology.
