Amazon Ads has announced the expansion of its AI-powered Video Generator to advertisers in India, alongside several other global markets including Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The tool has been designed to help businesses of all sizes easily create professional-quality video ads in minutes, at no additional cost.
With the Video Generator, advertisers have been able to upload product images, existing product videos, or a product detail page and generate six realistic, high-motion videos that showcase products in action. The tool has leveraged Amazon’s audience insights and existing product pages to craft multi-scene videos with smooth transitions, text overlays, and background music. Its summarization feature has also extracted key clips from existing videos to create optimized ad formats, ensuring advertisers can present products in realistic and engaging ways.
By removing the need for production expertise or extra resources, Video Generator has aimed to make video advertising more accessible, especially for small and medium-sized businesses. The tool has also offered brand customization options, enabling advertisers to add logos, adjust headlines, and maintain brand consistency across their campaigns.
Since its U.S. launch earlier this year, Video Generator has seen rapid adoption. Amazon Ads has reported a fourfold increase in the number of campaigns using the tool in Q3 2025 compared to Q2 2025. Over 60% of the products promoted through it have been advertised on Sponsored Brand video for the first time, reflecting how the tool has helped open up new avenues for advertisers.
The Video Generator has been made available via Creative Studio, Amazon Ads’ hub for creative tools, allowing advertisers to access it alongside the company’s other AI-powered offerings like Image Generator. Amazon Ads has stated that the underlying models have continued to evolve, ensuring ongoing improvements in creative output and user experience.
