Times Internet Appoints Syed Fazal Bari As Head Of New Initiatives, TIL Languages/Special Projects

Times Internet has appointed Syed Fazal Bari as the Head of New Initiatives, TIL Languages/Special Projects, where he will be driving strategic innovation, revenue growth, and project delivery across regional language markets.

In his new role, he will focus on identifying new market opportunities, developing monetization models, and ensuring seamless execution of high-impact initiatives. He will work closely with cross-functional teams to scale digital transformation and content diversification while strengthening Times Internet’s leadership in multilingual and culturally relevant media.

He announced the same on LinkedIn.

Prior to this, Bari served as Business Head and VP – FE Digital, FE B2B Verticals, FE Connect and Express Digital IPs at The Indian Express from September 2021 to September 2025.

Before that, he was Head of Brand and Strategy, EconomicTimes.com at Times Internet between January 2017 and September 2021.

He was with Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times Group) as Chief Manager (Brand) – The Economic Times Print from February 2008 to December 2016 and Assistant Manager at Times Response from October 2006 to February 2008.
