Prime Video has announced the launch of NBA League Pass, the NBA’s official subscription service for streaming live and on-demand games, as an add-on subscription in India. This marks the first time the platform is available in the country, giving basketball fans a comprehensive way to follow the NBA season.
NBA League Pass gives subscribers access to more than 1,000 games per season, including every regular season fixture, the NBA All-Star, NBA Playoffs, Conference Finals, and NBA Finals, along with replays, highlights, and NBA TV at no additional cost. Subscribers can stream games live or on-demand through flexible subscription plans.
The add-on offers three pricing tiers to cater to different preferences. The League Pass plan, priced at Rs 219 per month, provides access to all games along with NBA TV and supports streaming on one device. The League Pass Premium plan, priced at Rs 329 per month, includes NBA TV, streaming on up to three devices, offline viewing, and an in-arena feed. The Team Pass, priced at Rs 199 per month, allows fans to follow all games of a single team on one device.
As part of Prime Membership, viewers in India will also have access to select marquee games from the NBA’s 2025–26 regular season. These include Opening Week, the Black Friday Doubleheader, NBA Berlin and London Games, and the 2026 SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament, which will stream at no additional cost on Prime Video’s SVOD service.
The action begins on Saturday, October 25, with an opening week doubleheader featuring the New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics at 5:00 AM IST, followed by Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Los Angeles Lakers at 7:30 AM IST.
Prime Video Sports also unveiled the new NBA on Prime Studio at Amazon MGM Studios in Culver City, California, featuring basketball legends and on-air talent including Blake Griffin, Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Candace Parker, Dwyane Wade, and others, along with host Taylor Rooks and commentators Ian Eagle, Cassidy Hubbarth, Allie Clifton, and Stan Van Gundy.
The 2025–26 NBA schedule on Prime Video covers marquee matchups throughout the season, including the Lakers, Celtics, Warriors, Knicks, and other top teams, with games airing every week through April 2026.
