Ashish Sehgal, Chief Growth Officer- Ad Sales, Broadcast and Digital, has resigned from ZEEL. He is stepping down due to personal reasons after nearly 20 years with the organisation.
At the same time, the company has elevated Laxmi Shetty as Head- Advertisement Revenue, Broadcast and Digital. Shetty, who has been associated with ZEEL for over 20 years, has played a key role in strategic sales planning and revenue growth across the broadcast and digital verticals.
In her new role, Shetty is tasked with overseeing monetisation across both linear and digital businesses. Prior to joining ZEEL, she had worked for 15 years with Bennett, Coleman & Co., bringing wide-ranging experience in the advertising and media sector.
Sehgal has confirmed his decision in a resignation letter addressed to CEO Punit Goenka, describing his journey with the company as “a truly enriching chapter.”
The management changes have been disclosed by ZEEL to BSE and NSE in line with SEBI’s listing regulations.
“It has been an incredible experience spanning almost 20 years, during which I’ve had the privilege to learn every nuance of the trade, grow through challenges, and contribute meaningfully to our shared goals,” Sehgal said in his letter.
