Kingfisher Premium Packaged Drinking Water, a brand under United Breweries (a HEINEKEN company), has partnered with the Argentine Football Association (AFA), becoming its official Regional Sponsor in India.

The collaboration focuses on expanding Kingfisher’s presence in Indian states with a strong football following, including West Bengal, Kerala, Goa, and the Northeast. The initiative is part of a larger strategy to tap into the growing popularity of football in India.

As part of the campaign, Kingfisher and AFA will roll out a series of on-ground and digital fan engagement activities. These include immersive fan experiences and grassroots football initiatives aimed at supporting local talent and increasing community involvement in the sport.

This partnership not only enhances our presence in one of the world’s most vibrant football markets but also aligns perfectly with our vision to connect with fans globally through meaningful and engaging collaborations,” Leandro Petersen, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer of AFA, said.

Around 63% of revenue came from Delhi-NCR, with the remainder generated from other parts of the country. The company currently reaches more than 95 cities across India and operates nine milk processing plants, four horticulture processing plants and 16 associated edible oil facilities.
