This Ad Is Making Everyone Nostalgic With Comeback Of ‘Dhara Oil’ Kid

Making views feel nostalgic for advertisements has become a trend and brands use it with great effect. If you are 90s kid, you must be missing the old TV shows, movies and ads that used to entertain in a unique way. There are so many ads that are still fresh in the minds of people. Do you remember the very famous Dhara oil commercial which featured a kid who wanted to leave his home but stops himself for eating tasty jalebis cooked in the Dhara oil?

If yes, we have something that will take you back to the childhood memories. Uber Eats has strategically recreated similar emotion as the kid has grown up and like many of us is fighting with his flatmates instead of his parents. To add your knowledge bank, his name is Parzaan Dastur and has now shifted from jalebi to biryani in this ad. The best thing about the latest commercial is that he still doesn’t manage to leave his house making every millennial go nostalgic.

The ad already got close to 1.3 lakh views on Instagram and over 30,000 on Facebook, along with hundreds of comments.
