Ambuja Cement has appointed Vinod Bahety as its Chief Executive Officer, as per disclosed in the company’s exchange filings. Bahety, who has also been named an Additional Director and Whole-time Director, will assume his new roles for a three-year term beginning April 1, 2025.
Bahety’s transition to CEO follows his tenure as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), a position he will hold until the close of business on March 31, 2025. Rakesh Tiwary has been named as the new Chief Financial Officer, stepping into the role on the same date.
The filings also stated that Ajay Kapur has been reappointed as Managing Director (Key Managerial Personnel) for a two-year term starting April 1, 2025. Additionally, In the digital transformation space, Madhavi Isanaka will take over as Chief Digital Officer from April 1, 2025, replacing Hemal Shah.
