NIVEA India Appoints Unilever’s Shweta Dalal As Its New Marketing Director

After being associated with Unilever for a period of more than 13 years, of which her latest role at the company was that of Global Brand Director for Lux - South Asia, Shweta Dalal has now joined NIVEA India as Marketing Director. She will oversee NIVEA India's marketing strategy, with a focus on strengthening the brand's presence in the Indian market.

NIVEA India Appoints Unilever’s Shweta Dalal As Its New Marketing Director

NIVEA India has appointed former Unilever Global Brand Director for Lux – South Asia, Shweta Dalal, as its new Marketing Director.

In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing NIVEA India’s marketing strategy, with a focus on strengthening the brand’s presence in the Indian market while ensuring alignment with

NIVEA’s global mission of providing superior skincare products.

Her expertise in building impactful brand strategies, coupled with her diverse international experience, is believed to be crucial in driving NIVEA India’s growth.

Bringing with her over 16 years of extensive expertise across leading global brands, she had been associated with Unilever for over 13 years. She joined Unilever as Global Brand Manager- Fair & Lovely in September 2011, was elevated as Senior Brand Manager- Ayush in April 2016, followed by Senior Global Brand Manager- Pears in July 2017, Global Brand Director- Pears in December 2018 and Global Brand Director- Dove & Pears in January 2021 and later as Global Brand Director for Lux – South Asia, Africa, and Global Bars.

Before joining Unilever, she was associated with L’Oréal for over four years during which her roles spanned across that of Business Development Executive (Sales), Assistant Product Manager- Vichy and Product Manager- Garnier Skin Naturals.

Her unique experience spans creating and growing brands across South Asia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, and LATAM wherein she has successfully strengthened brand equity, identified brand purpose, and developed new, self-sustaining, digital-first business models-all grounded in a deep understanding of consumers.

During her roles at Unilever and L’Oréal, she successfully led multi-market campaigns and introduced innovative marketing strategies across regions and therefore, her expertise aligns seamlessly with NIVEA India’s focus on delivering world- class skincare solutions tailored to local needs.
