Mathrubhumi’s M V Shreyams Kumar Elected President Of Indian Newspaper Society

M V Shreyams Kumar, Managing Director of Mathrubhumi, has been elected as the President of the Indian Newspaper Society (INS). Kumar takes over from Rakesh Sharma of Aaj Samaj.

Mathrubhumi’s M V Shreyams Kumar Elected President Of Indian Newspaper Society

M V Shreyams Kumar, Managing Director of Mathrubhumi, has been elected as the President of the Indian Newspaper Society (INS), an apex body representing publishers of newspapers, magazines, and periodicals.

Kumar takes over from Rakesh Sharma of Aaj Samaj.

Vivek Gupta of Sanmarg has been elected as Deputy President, while Karan Rajendra Darda of Lokmat will serve as Vice President, and Tanmay Maheshwari of Amar Ujala has taken the role of honorary treasurer for the society.

The 85th Annual General Meeting of the society took place via video conferencing.

The 41-member Executive Committee comprises, S. Balasubramanian Adityan from Daily Thanthi, Samahit Bal of Pragativadi, K.N. Tilak Kumar representing Deccan Herald and Prajavani, Viveck Goenka from The Indian Express, Mahendra Mohan Gupta of Dainik Jagran, Kundan Vyas of Vyapar-Janmabhoomi, Atideb Sarkar from the Telegraph, K.R.P. Reddy of Sakshi, and Pratap G. Pawar of Sakal.
