FCB Ulka Appoints Razorpay’s Ajay Ravindran As Its New National Planning Director

After serving the role of Head of Brand Marketing and Senior Director at Razorpay for about two-and-a-half years, Ajay Ravindran has now joined FCB Ulka, part of FCB Group India, in the capacity of National Planning Director.

FCB Ulka Appoints Razorpay’s Ajay Ravindran As Its New National Planning Director

FCB Ulka, part of FCB Group India, has appointed Razorpay’s former Head of Brand Marketing and Senior Director- Ajay Ravindran as its new National Planning Director.

He joins FCB Ulka after a close to two-and-a-half years long stint at Razorpay during which he oversaw numerous campaigns that seamlessly integrated technology, creativity, and storytelling, demonstrating his ability to deliver successful and innovative strategies.

Prior to joining Razorpay in May 2022, he was associated with Ogilvy as Senior Vice President- Integrated Planning and Head of Planning- Vi for more than a year. During this time, he led strategy for one of Ogilvy’s largest accounts- Vi and also spearheaded a team of eight, including performance experts, social media marketers, B2B strategists and mainline planners.

In the past, he also worked with VMLY&R, MullenLowe Lintas Group, Grey Group, L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, Kantar and Madison World.

Having worked on the entire gamut from advertising to social media, content, media planning, and market research, Ravindran honed his skills in an array of fields ranging from having a 360-degree view of brand strategy, new-age planning, bringing together storytelling, social media culture, and technology.
