JioCinema, in collaboration with PokerBaazi, has launched a six-part Poker focused reality TV series, Poker Masterclass.
The five-day poker camp is shot in a game format to promote learning and skill development while displaying the whirlwind of emotions and entertainment experienced in the masterclass.
In the series, the 28 players will compete against each other in various poker games and activities. The players will be divided into four teams, which are led by four poker masters. The team heads impart knowledge to poker players to help them upskill as well as socialise with the burgeoning Indian poker community.
In the series, Abhishek Goindi will lead the Shark Squad, Kanishka Samant will lead the Anti-Tilters, Vinod Megalmani will captain the Pocket Rockets, and Shravan Chhabria will spearhead the Crushers. Each day will be filled with poker gameplay and insightful sessions.
The players featured in the series were the top finishers in the competitions played on PokerBaazi’s platform. A social media competition also yielded four lucky winners. A pass to the Indian Poker Masters series, which is streamed on PokerBaazi, was also given to the show’s contestants. Along with a trophy, the winning team received additional recognition for an MVP who excelled during the masterclass.
August 4, 2024 marks the start of the Indian Poker Master series on PokerBaazi. The poker players in India will compete for the title of Indian Poker Master over the 21-day event, which has a prize pool of Rs 60 crore.
