Smartphone market across the world is growing at a good rate and the credit goes to the productivity modern phones provide in daily routine tasks. Here is a list of top 10 most selling smartphone models in the world from Jan to March 2018. Have a look:

Despite all the rumors that Apple slows down its old phones with updates, Apple’s iPhone X is at the top of this list. It is currently the most expensive iPhone available in the market and is at the top in terms of generating profits for Apple.

Another iPhone on this list, the iPhone 8 is a successor to iPhone 7 Plus which was launched last year. iPhone 8 Plus alone has contributed 15.2% profit share of the total smartphone industry in the first 3 three months of 2018.

3. Xiaomi Redmi 5A

Xiaomi is not only popular in India, its budget smartphone Redmi 5A is breaking all the records in sales for the company. Redmi 5A launched in India in November 2017 at Rs 5,999 with a 5-inch HD display. This phone is available in 2 variants 2GB and 3GB RAM.

4. Oppo A83

Oppo’s A83 smartphone has secured the 4th position on this list. This smartphone is available at a mid-price range of Rs 13,990.

5. Samsung Galaxy S9

Samsung’s flagship phone Galaxy S9 series has helped the company to increase its market share in the ultra-premium segment. Both Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are winning the heart of customers with its quality processor.

Samsung seems to be enjoying the mid-range pricing strategy with Galaxy J7 Pro. The sales of this phone are still high as its price was reduced recently.

10. Apple iPhone 6

Even after 4 years of its launch, iPhone 6 is able to achieve number 10 position in this list with 1.8% of the smartphone industry’s profits in the first quarter of 2018.
