Arijit Sengupta has joined Zydus Wellness as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this role, he will spearhead the marketing operations and help strengthen the company’s footprint.
Before this, he was associated with Reckitt for a decade. He started his journey with the company in 2014 as Senior Marketing Director Asia- Mead Johnson Nutrition.
Later, he was elevated to CMO- Indonesia in 2017 and led the marketing department for the company’s high-priority Indonesia business. Additionally, he was responsible for revenue, operating profit, and market share across seven categories.
Finally, he served as Global Marketing Head- Digital Startup from 2020 to 2024 and was responsible for Upspring Internationally, a wellness startup acquired by Reckitt. He was based in London, England for the same.
Previously, he was associated with Unilever in different roles. He joined the company in 2004 as Key Account Manager- Modern Trade. Following this, he was elevated to Global Brand Manager- Personal Cleansing in 2007.
Subsequently, he served as Marketing Director ASEAN, Australia from March 2010 to November 2013 at Unilever and was based in Singapore. After this, from 2013 to 2014, he was Regional Marketing Director- Fabric Care, Asia.
In the past, he was Area Sales Manager at Colgate Palmolive from 2002 to 2004 and he managed the distributive trade in western India.
