POCO’s Twitter account revealed that the brand will focus on speed, which isn’t surprising considering the Pocophone F1 AnTuTu benchmark scores that were leaked earlier this week. Fasten your seatbelt @XiaomiIndia 🙂 It’s going to be a fast ride! @jaimani POCO Indian wrote.

Several leaks have been already viral on the internet hinting Xiaomi’s intentions behind POCO. Xiaomi hasn’t revealed many details about the Poco brand, but it is assumed that Pocophone F1 will launch soon in India. Xiaomi is promoting the brand as Pocophone internationally, but in India, it is named as Poco.
Poco could be Xiaomi’s affordable gaming smartphone brand. In a recent interview, Xiaomi VP Manu Kumar Jain hinted that Xiaomi wants to capture flagship smartphone industry India now. Jain also hinted that the next plan is to offer a flagship-class phone at a highly affordable price with an aspirational appeal, like Samsung’s Galaxy S series. Last time when Xiaomi made a premium smartphone, it didn’t work out as the company expected.
Pocophone F1 will reportedly come with a 6.18-inch 1080p+ display and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9 with a notch up-front much like the Mi 8 phones. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
