WinZO, India’s digital entertainment platform, has launched in the United States to expand its technology, gaming innovation, intellectual property, and talent to global audiences.
The U.S. debut follows WinZO’s foray into Brazil in 2023, positioning the company in three of the world’s four largest mobile gaming markets India, Brazil, and the U.S. which together account for a market worth USD 65–70 billion and over 20 billion annual mobile game downloads.
WinZO, having led India’s large user base, has now entered the U.S. Since India makes up just 1% of the global gaming market, WinZO’s international expansion represents a Tech Exports 2.0 story and its move shows how Indian developers can bring culturally relevant games and esports to a top market using its plug-and-play distribution model.
WinZO’s global competitiveness comes from its ecosystem of 250 million users playing over 100 competitive games in 15 languages. It holds more than 100 technology patents, including live streaming, real-time game engine, AI-powered vernacular tools, one-click game integration, and AI-driven cybersecurity. Supported by its $50 million ZO Fund according to the company for early-stage tech startups, WinZO is expanding Indian innovation globally and connecting talent, culture, and IP between India, Brazil, and the U.S. While growing internationally, WinZO will continue offering services in India, adjusting some based on changing regulations.
WinZO’s expansion to the U.S. is a critical part of its strategy to become the global go-to consumer tech platform After diversifying its formats and monetization, the company is now focusing on expanding geographically. As WinZO grows, it will continue to develop new products and features, leveraging its strong tech team, IP patents, strategic investments, and experience with cutting-edge technology.
“The launch of WinZO in the United States is a proud milestone for us and for India’s digital entertainment ecosystem. Our vision has always been to empower Indian game developers to reach global audiences. Entering the U.S., the world’s largest and most influential gaming market, is a decisive step towards that mission. We are equally excited to introduce ZO TV, our new short video format, which further diversifies our content offerings and strengthens WinZO’s position as a global hub and one stop destination for interactive entertainment, said Saumya Singh Rathore and Paavan Nanda, Co-Founders of WinZO.”
