Vishal Mega Mart has appointed Sutapa Chatterjee as Associate Vice President (AVP). Before this, she served as Assistant General Manager (AGM) at KFC India, for nearly two years.
Before this, she served as General Manager- Marketing at House of Beauty from May 2021 to January 2023.
Earlier, she was associated with KOOVS Marketing Consulting as Head- Marketing and Communications from July 2014 to April 2021. In this role, she was responsible for heading the marketing communication, influencer marketing, social media, PR, and event verticals. She also conceptualised, designed, and launched campaigns, among other things.
Prior to this, in her tenure with PR Pundit from July 2009 to July 2014, Chatterjee was responsible for developing brand messaging and managing the company’s public relations archives. She also oversaw and helped in the execution of events. On the other hand, she evaluated the results of PR campaigns to ensure they were in sync with the key messaging.
Before this, she served as Communication Manager at Equator Communications from August 2008 to July 2009.
In the past, she worked as Marketing Manager at TELiBrahma Technologies from February 2008 to August 2008. In this role, she managed end-to-end on-ground events and secured brand associations to grow revenue streams.
