India vs Bangladesh in cricket is a new rivalry that everyone is looking forward to. Even after winning most games, India has faced tough competition from Bangladesh in past few years. To add up to the heat, Star Sports has signed former cricketer Virender Sehwag for a campaign to promote the India Vs Bangladesh T20 series.

As a part of this campaign, Star Sports has launched a video featuring Sehwag taking on an animated avatar of a Bangladeshi ball. He is seen playing the nostalgic game called ‘Chidiya Udd’, which we all have played in our childhood.

The ad takes on the fact that Bangladeshi fans are too ambitious when it comes to matches against India. Also, the way behave on social media is something that Sehwag talk about in this commercial. In the ad, Sehwag says, “Yahaan Itns Udd Raha Hai, Kahin T20 Me Pehli Baar Jeet Gaya, To Kitna Udega Yeh”

We all know that the close matches have made this contest more interesting then ever but fans should act wisely and enjoy the game no matter who wins or loses.

Talking about this, Virender Sehwag said,

“Bangladesh is a good side and the rivalry has snowballed since their win in the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup and when we toured Bangladesh in 2015. However, Bangladesh hasn’t tasted success in the T20 format as India has consistently beaten them in all encounters between the two teams. The off-the-field banter is noticed in both camps. Bangladeshi fans take their cricket quite seriously and we have witnessed an outburst on social media with significant online trolling in the past. It is going to be an exciting series and I can’t wait to catch the action on field.”
