Vineet Gautam To Part Ways With BESTSELLER After 15 Years Of Association

After a 15-year journey, Vineet Gautam has decided to move on as Chief Executive Officer (India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal) of BESTSELLER. He joined the company in January 2010, and will officially conclude his tenure on December 31, 2024.

He took to LinkedIn and wrote, “I can vividly recall stepping into a small office on the 1st of January, 2010, carrying with me dreams that felt ambitious, almost impossible, yet exhilarating.”

“Today, it fills me with immense pride to have been part of the incredible growth story of brands like JACK & JONES, Vero Moda, ONLY BRAND HOUSE, and SELECTED FEMME/HOMME. Together, we achieved milestones that seemed aspirational at the start- from introducing these brands to the Indian market to making them household names, and from a handful of stores to over 1,538 shop-in-shops and nearly 332 exclusive brand outlets across the country,” he added. 

Gautam also said, “As I prepare to embark on a new chapter, I do so with a heart full of gratitude and memories of a lifetime. BESTSELLER India will always have a special place in my heart, and I am confident that the incredible team here will continue to soar to even greater heights.”

Prior to joining BESTSELLER India, he was associated with Etisalat Telecom as National Head Retail (Associate Vice President) from October 2009 to January 2010. 

Earlier, he served as Business Head at Benetton Group from April 2007 to September 2009. In this capacity, he was responsible for the commercial negotiations of property, franchisee arrangements, distributor margins, and all legal formalities as per the agreements, and other things. 

From May 2003 to March 2007, he was Senior Manager- India n U (Showrooms) at Idea Cellular and devised the sales and service delivery plan for all showrooms across 11 circles and 14 states. In addition, he formulated the retail strategy of showrooms across the country, planning and designing the showroom and retail model. 

In the past, over the years he was associated with Wills Lifestyle, Cafe Coffee Day, and Domino’s Pizza in different roles.
