Vibha Harish Makes It To Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 Within 1 Year Of Opening Her Venture

Vibha Harish, a Bengaluru-based entrepreneur has made it to Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30. It is noteworthy that Vibha made it to list in just one year of opening her venture, Cosmix. Launched in 2019, Cosmix is a health supplement brand and also one of the fastest-growing ventures in the country.

Vibha got the inspiration to start the venture after a diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome led her to pay more attention to a healthy diet. The Bangalore-based startup makes nutritional powder supplements from fruits, herbs, and roots, which it says can help boost immunity and improve sleep.

While talking about her journey, Vibha told PTI that her mother suggested that she go for herbal instead of any allopathic medicines for her PCOS. She then started using herbs. Inspired by herbalism from the western world and Ayurveda from our own country, she started experimenting by herself.

Cosmix has a dedicated Research and Development team in Bengaluru which is constantly working on new mixes and improving the old ones. This R&D department is overseen by her mother. Cosmix has eight products for gut health, liver health, sleep, hair health, skin health.

Vibha was learning about herbalism when she realised herbalism was not very popular since it were not marketed correctly. As per Vibha, this was mainly because the right scientific information was not available.

Harish is an engineer by education and has inherited the business from her parents. In just one year of its operation, Cosmix registered a turnover of around Rs 2 crore.

The brand also makes superfood bars for children who are malnourished through the Anganwadis

As for her social resposibilty, Vibha uses part of her profits to fund the company’s “Nutrition for All” program, which donates food and energy bars to malnourished children in rural India.
