Twitterati Share Their Favourite #CCDMemories On Twitter

Staying true to its tagline “A lot can happen over coffee” CCD proved to be more than just a coffee house. As the country continues to grieve the tragic death of its Founder and CEO Siddhartha, Twitterati shared their CCD memories and paid tribute to the man.

Kunal Bahl, the co-founder of Ola cabs tagged Bhavish Aggarwal in his tweet and said, “@bhash and I met in 2011 at the CCD behind my house and we talked about what Ola can become (was doing ~10 rides a day then). His passion was infectious and impressive and it was in that CCD on that day, that we agreed on Rohit & I making an angel investment in Ola #CCDmemories.”

Indian cricket star Ashwin Ravichandran joined the wagon and tweeted his CCD memory 

People also shared how they disagree with VG Siddhartha being a failed entrepreneur. 

His many customers who grew up on coffee and conversations at his cafes mourned his death and disagreed that he had failed.

Meanwhile, Cafe Coffee Day also took to Twitter to remember and thank their founder for his vision, leadership and legacy.
