1. IIM Bangalore
In recent news, the Lateral and Final Placements for the PGP Class of 2018-20 of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) saw 518 offers, leading to all 428 students who appeared for placements being placed over three interview days.
Consulting companies made 147 offers led by Accenture with 26 offers, followed by The Boston Consulting Group with 23 offers.
2. IIM Ahmedabad
In 2019, the maximum salary according to the IPRS Audited Report was Rs 70 lakh (domestic) and this came from the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector in Mumbai. For international offers, the maximum salary was $117,631 (Rs 80.6 lakh approximately).
The minimum salary for domestic offers was Rs 15 lakh in 2019 whereas for international offers it was $49,000 (Rs 33.7 lakh approximately). All 388 who sat for the placement process got jobs.
McKinsey made the highest number of offers (including pre-placement offers) at 27, closely followed by The Boston Consulting Group with 23 offers.
3. IIM Lucknow
IIM Lucknow announces 100% placement of the PGP (2018-20) batch comprising of 443 students. The elite MBA institute saw participation from 140 domestic and international recruiters.
Top recruiters such as Amazon, Accenture, BCG, PwC among other recruiters have hired candidates from IIM-Lucknow. Roles in the domain of consulting, finance, operations, product management, and marketing were extended to the students.
4. IIM Kozhikode
IIM Kozhikode has completed the final placements for its 2018-20 batch with a 12% increase in the mean salary. The mean annual salary increased to Rs 23.08 lakh from Rs 20.6 lakh while the median increased to Rs 20.8 lakh from Rs 18.5 lakh. The top 50% of students bagged an average cost to the company or total salary package of Rs 26.69 lakh, up 12.5% from last year’s.
5. IIM Calcutta
Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C) takes pride in announcing that it has successfully completed the final placements for the 55th batch (2018-20) of PGP students. As per the reports published by leading education portals, overall 439 students have been placed with 136 firms that participated in the campus placements. Candidates were extended 492 offers by the recruiters, and top firms such as Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Co, Bain & Co, Kearney, PricewaterhouseCoopers have recruited maximum students from the batch.
