We have all wanted to work with a company that treats its employees well. There are organizations that come up with reports and lists of top companies to work with and make us all want to be a part of it.
From the pay structure to flexible working hours and on-floor facilities, a lot goes into making a company desirable by the people.
But there have been many companies that may have not made it to any of the lists but have still been able to keep their employees happy and retained.
A Sydney-based marketing firm Soup Agency surprised its employees by taking them on a two-week ‘workcation’ to Indonesia.
The company posted a video on its official Instagram handle of all the fun that the group was having. From hiking, quad biking, working by the pool, or just chilling and enjoying drinks made us all a little jealous, to be honest.
The caption read ‘A wrap up of Bali – first working holiday as a team 🌴💻’
Katya Vakulenko, Managing Director at Soup, said that the trip was the best team-building experience at the agency since its launch.
Katya shared his thoughts with Daily Mail and said talked about how much it is important for workplaces to all work together as a team, both inside and outside of working hours.
On the trip, one of the staff members named Michelle even celebrated her 24th birthday with an early morning hike up a volcano.
After the pandemic hit, the world realized that we can work from almost anywhere and everywhere. That is what inspired the company to take its office in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
Despite the obvious beauty of the country that was so tranquil and distracting the employees proved to be very productive. In fact, the agency is planning another workcation in Europe soon.
