These Classic Ads Featuring Indian Cricketers Will Make You Nostalgic

Cricketers and endorsements are now not a new thing. With cricketers like MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli having the most brand associations in the country, there was a time when we would see them just once or twice on daily advertisements. Nostalgia hits hard with this one, as we remember these timeless ads from the past featuring some of our favourite cricketers – retired and active in the industry.

Nippo Ad – Yuvraj Singh

Remember when young Yuvraj Singh advertised for Nippo batteries? These batteries were quite popular in the last decade for most small gadgets around our house and had a solid battery life as well. Oh, those good old days!

Adidas – Sachin Tendulkar

This was one of the musical ads involving cricketer Sourav Ganguly and actor Hrithik Roshan where Ganguly danced and Roshan played cricket! Watch this advertisement to see how both stars show each other how they can master each other’s games.

Kissan Jam – Rahul Dravid

Who doesn’t remember Rahul Dravid? He was one of the popular cricketers at the beginning of the 21st century. His short advertisement for Kissan definitely worked its way for the girls!

Boost – Sachin Tendulkar and Kapil Dev
