TCS has elevated Kritika Saxena as Head of Marketing for India. In her new role, she has been responsible for leading the company’s marketing strategy for the Indian market, strengthening brand visibility, and unifying its marketing efforts across key business segments.
Saxena has shared this update on LinkedIn, where she has reflected on her journey from TV journalism to the corporate sector and expressed her excitement about stepping into the new mandate. In her post, she has written about her five-year stint heading Corporate Communications at TCS and thanked senior leaders and colleagues for their support during her tenure.
Prior to this elevation, Saxena has held multiple leadership roles at Tata Consultancy Services over a five-year period. From December 2020 to November 2025, she has worked as Head – Corporate Communications and Public Relations.
Before joining TCS, Saxena has spent more than a decade at CNBC-TV18 across several roles. From April 2017 to December 2020, she has served as Chief of Bureau – Mumbai and South India, following a year-long stint as Deputy Chief of Bureau – Mumbai from April 2016 to April 2017. Between April 2012 and April 2016, she worked as Special Correspondent, after serving as Principal Correspondent from April 2011 to April 2012, and Senior Correspondent from November 2008 to April 2011.
Earlier in her career, in 2008, she worked as a Producer with BBC Worldwide, contributing to the feature programme India Business Report. Prior to that, from August 2007 to January 2008, she has served as Reporter and Features Writer at Sanskriti Media and Entertainment, writing for platforms such as Deccan Chronicle, The Times of India, Mail Today, Free Press Journal and Yuva. Between November 2005 and January 2008, she has also worked as a Freelance Features Writer for Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (Times Group), contributing to Downtown Plus, Mumbai Mirror, Times Ascent and Times Property across civic, lifestyle, health and public-awareness beats. Additionally, in 2007, she has worked as an Assistant Director with Adobe Entertainment India, assisting with scripting, research and customised content development for short films, promos and mobile platforms.
