Good Brands Co’s CEO Sukhleen Aneja Calls It Quits At The Good Glamm Group

After being associated with The Good Glamm Group as the CEO of its Good Brands Co for close to two-and-a-half years, Sukhleen Aneja has decided to call it quits. She will be associated with the Group till July.

Good Brands Co’s CEO Sukhleen Aneja Calls It Quits At The Good Glamm Group

After serving the role of CEO at The Good Glamm Group’s Good Brands Co for close to two-and-a-half years now, Sukhleen Aneja has decided to depart from the IPO-bound company.

Announcing the move via a press statement, the Group mentioned that during her tenure at the company, Aneja had played a ‘pivotal role’ in shaping the Group’s growth trajectory, leading the Brands division with ‘innovation’ and ‘strategic vision’.

“During her tenure, Sukhleen’s leadership has been instrumental in achieving significant milestones, including successful fundraising rounds, and driving the organization towards profitability. Her dedication and expertise have been invaluable assets to our team. She has also helped build a strong brand team in-house that will be continuing the base set by her and has been elevated in roles,” it added.

While the company doesn’t plan to onboard a new CEO to replace Aneja as she steps out of the Group in July, the Group has announced that Ketan Bhatia and Ankita Bhardwaj, as Group Brand Director and Director of Brand and Marketing, respectively, will lead the brand’s business operations in collaboration with Darpan Sanghvi, Group Founder and CEO, The Good Glamm Group.

Prior to joining The Good Glamm Group in December 2021, Aneja was associated with Reckitt for close to five years, starting May 2017, as its Chief Marketing Officer- RB Hygiene for South Asia.

Before that she also served the role of General Manager- International Marketing (Garnier, S. Apac) at Loreal.

In an earlier stint with Reckitt which lasted for more than three-and-a-half years, she was associated with the company first as Area Innovation Manager- Dettol/ Lysol (Asia, EMEA and Latin America) from 2012 to 2014 and then assumed the role of Category Marketing Manager- Developing Markets for Veet, Durex and Scholl from 2014 to August 2015.

In the past, she also worked with Unilever across various roles including ASM- Personal Care (Uttar Pradesh), Senior Brand Manager- Knorr (Savoury and Meal Makers for South Asia) and Marketing Manager- Innovations at Lakme.

Commenting on her departure from the IPO-bound company, Aneja, CEO- Good Brands Co, The Good Glamm Group, said, “I’m grateful to Darpan and our Board for believing in me and giving me the chance to be the first professional CEO to lead the Brands business at Good Glamm Group. It was my first taste of entrepreneurship, focusing on D2C and marketplace first businesses. I’m happy to see that my journey at Good Glamm Group is ending on a high note. Over the past 2.5 years, we’ve built a strong foundation, completed our fundraising and are now on track to become profitable and get ready for that IPO.”

To this, Sanghvi, Group Founder and CEO, The Good Glamm Group, also added, “I want to thank Sukhleen for her amazing leadership as CEO of our Brands division. She did a great job building a strong line-up of products for our future growth. I wish her the best in her new journey, with her dedication to brand building, I eagerly anticipate her next chapter of growth.”
