Snapchat India has appointed Saket Jha Saurabh as its new Director of Content and Partnerships. Prior to this role, he served as a strategic advisor, helping leadership teams in consumer tech and creator economy startups with business growth.
In his new position, apart from leading partnerships and content for Snapchat in India, he will also help grow the platform, boost revenue, and expand the community.
Previously, he also worked at Meta where he began as the Director and Head of Entertainment and Music Partnerships in May 2018. Then, from April 2022 to June 2023, he served as the Director and Head of Media Partnerships and in this role he was supervising Meta’s relationships with India’s leading TV networks, creators, public figures, movie studios, publishers, music labels, sports teams, leagues, creator agencies, and platforms.
Before this, he worked with various other companies such as Wunderman Thompson, starting in 2001 in Account Management. In 2002, he transitioned to Leo Burnett, where he focused on Client Servicing, Business Development, and Brand Planning.
Saurabh was part of the India Today Group from 2002 to 2005, managing the marketing for Aaj Tak and India Today. Then, in 2012, he joined CNBC-TV18 as Head of Marketing. In 2008, he moved to Network18 Media and Investments as GM of Corporate Development, staying until 2014.
He started as CEO and Director at Fame Digital in 2014, staying until 2016. Then, in 2016, he moved to Bloomberg as Business Head – Digital, where he stayed until 2018.
