Siddhartha Roy has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer of Hungama Digital Media Entertainment concluding an impactful tenure with one of India’s leading digital entertainment companies.
Roy’s exit marks the close of a significant era for Hungama, where he played a central role in strengthening the company’s portfolio across digital entertainment spanning music, video, games, and emerging consumer experiences. During his tenure, he led initiatives that expanded Hungama’s global footprint, forged partnerships across telecom, OEM and distribution ecosystems, and deepened the organisation’s relationships with content creators and studios. Today, Hungama’s services reach millions of users across more than 90 countries.
Prior to Hungama, he co-founded BigAdda, one of India’s earliest youth networks, and held leadership positions at MTV Networks and Star TV. His career has focused on shaping digital products, engaging audiences at scale, and supporting innovation in India’s entertainment landscape.
