Shubhranshu Singh, currently serving as Global Chief Marketing Officer at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, has accepted an invitation to be an inaugural member of the Board of Directors of the Effie LIONS Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization based in New York State.
The Foundation has been set up following the acquisition of Effie Worldwide by Informa plc, which also owns the Cannes Lions. It aims to educate and empower the next generation of marketing talent globally, with a specific focus on underrepresented communities. Board members will serve as voting members with full authority and responsibility to ensure the long-term financial stability and integrity of the organization.
Singh will serve as a regional representative, helping the Foundation address the needs of India and South Asia. He will also be expected to serve on two board committees. The Foundation Board will meet twice a year — once in January, typically in New York or London, and once during the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity in June.
The board includes representation from advertisers, global brands, media companies, non-profit organizations, and academia.
