Shashi Tharoor Trolled By Rajasthan Royals For His Vocabulary

Indian Premier League season 1 winners Rajasthan Royals tolled Congress MP Shashi Tharoor for his vocabulary days after he congratulated Kerala wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson for scoring a double ton in Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Congratulating the cricketer Tharoor wrote on Twiiter, “In transit in Frankfurt on the way to the @IPUparliament meeting in Belgrade when i get the news that Thiruvananthapuram’s own Sanju Samson has hit 200 in a Vijay Hazare 50 over game! Ten sixes, 20 fours. Don’t know if our white-ball selectors were watching?!”

Rajasthan Royals took its sweet time and replied to Tharoor’s tweet in the most hilarious way possible

RR tweeted, ”5 days late; took us that long to frame it…Call us puerile or rodomontade, but in this farrago, the @IamSanjuSamson innings was a pulchritudinous source of amazement,” Rajasthan Royals wrote.

The cricketer otherwise has been garnering a lot of praise for his stellar performance as well and is currently prepping up for the three-match T20 series against Bangladesh who started on November 3.
