Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, has elevated Atin Chhabra to Vice President (VP)- Global Marketing, Middle East and Africa.
He joined the company in July 2017 as General Manager (GM)- Marketing and Digital Customer Experience, Greater India Region. Later, he was promoted to the role of Global Director- Digital Customer Experience in June 2019.
Subsequently, he served as VP- Digital Marketing and Media from January 2021 to September 2024.
Before this, he was associated with BlueStone as Head- New Business and Special Projects from April 2016 to July 2017. In this role, he led new business lines, categories, and special projects and spearheaded the omnichannel strategy and offline retail expansion, among other things.
Previously, he served as Deputy GM- Marketing at Pearson India from November 2012 to April 2015. In this position, he led the marketing and alliances function for the company’s education portfolio in India across three verticals- school, higher education, and vocational.
From December 2011 to November 2012, Chhabra was Head- Marketing and Communications at Meritnation, where he was a part of the leadership team. Here, he was responsible for overall marketing, brand, digital, customer acquisition, and engagement.
Earlier, he served as Manager- Marketing at ibibo Group from May 2010 to December 2011. In the past, he was associated with India Today as Manager- Marketing from September 2007 to May 2010. In this role, he was responsible for implementing brand and promotional activities, and more.
