Ruchika Sharma has joined Danone as head of consumer marketing, effective September 2025. Sharma is a marketing professional with 13 years of experience in healthcare, OTC, and consumer brands, driving brand growth, innovation, and market expansion across Reckitt, Abbott, Mars, Whirlpool, and 3M India. She led OTC brands Digene and Brufen at Abbott, delivering market share gains through impactful 360° campaigns.

Prior to this, she was senior global brand manager at Reckitt from December 2020 to September 2025, where she led global brand initiatives and drove marketing strategies across key product segments.
From May 2019 to December 2020, she worked as senior brand manager at Abbott’s consumer health division in Mumbai, where she led OTC brands such as Digene and Brufen, delivering market share gains through 360° campaigns.
Before that, she was brand manager at Mars from July 2017 to April 2019, where she managed brand strategies and consumer engagement initiatives.
From December 2014 to December 2016, she served as marketing manager in the fabric care division at Whirlpool India, where she developed category operating plans, monitored performance, and executed go-to-market strategies.
From January 2017 to June 2017, she also worked as marketing manager in the refrigeration division at Whirlpool India, where she conceptualized new products and restructured pricing strategies to regain market share.
She began her career with 3M India, where she served as senior area sales manager, modern trade from June 2013 to November 2014, managing key accounts and driving trade promotions. Prior to that, from June 2012 to May 2013, she worked as product manager, home care in Bengaluru, where she managed the Scotch-Brite brushes portfolio, developed product strategies, and executed new product introductions.
