In a significant move, Nestlé India has announced that its BEO of Foods Business- Rajat Jain is all set to take up a prominent leadership role within Nestlé group, starting January 1, 2025.
He has been associated with Nestlé India since June 2004 and has served across a slew of roles at the company, ranging from that of Management Trainee in 2004 to Brand Manager- Sugar Confectionery in 2005, Senior Brand Manager- Munch in 2008, Senior Brand Manager- MAGGI Noodles in 2009, Marketing Manager- MAGGI in 2010, Regional Sales Manager in 2014, Category Manager- Confectionery in 2016,Category Head- Maggi Noodles in March 2018 and Director- Foods in 2021.
As a result, succeeding Jain as BEO- Foods Business at Nestlé India is Rupali Rattan who has been serving the role of BEO- Chocolates and Confectionery Business at the company since July 2021. She had joined Nestlé India in 2019 as Senior Manager- Communications and was elevated to Marketing Head- KITKAT (Youth, Gifting and Premium) in April 2020 before being entrusted with the BEO role.
Prior to joining Nestlé, she was associated with Perfetti Van Melle as Associate Category Director- Marketing and Marketing Head- Sri Lanka from April 2012 to March 2019, Senior Brand Manager at Kellogg Company from April 2008 to March 2012, Senior Brand Manager at United Spirits from January 2006 to March 2008 and Associate Brand Manager at Dharampal Satyapal from May 2003 to December 2005.
With Rattan moving up the rung, Gopichandar Jagatheesan, currently BEO of Dairy Business, has been nominated to succeed her as BEO of Chocolates and Confectionery Business. Consequently, it is Manav Sahni, currently Category Business Manager- Chilled Dairy, RTD and UHT who has been nominated to succeed Gopichandar Jagatheesan as BEO of Dairy Business (Senior Management Personnel).
The above said changes are subject to approvals and will be effective from January 1, 2025, as per the company.
