After being associated with the company for over 16 years, Joydeep Basuroy has been elevated to Group Head Marketing at Pernod Ricard.
He announced his promotion in a LinkedIn post.
He joined the company in December 2007 as Assistant General Manager. In this role, he was responsible for developing suitable strategy for Brand Royal Stag and for delivering above line and bottom line for the Brand.
Before this, he was associated with Khadim India as Head of Marketing, from November 2005 to November 2007. In this role, he had many responsibilities including, designing and implementing national foot print for its footwear Brand, developing distribution channel for its footwear brand and planning and implementation of advertising and media strategies to support the thematic and tactical needs of the brand in liaison with creative and media agencies.
Prior to that, he served as Brand Manager at SAB-Miller India. Here, he manager brands such as Royal Challenge and Haywards 5000.
