It is only natural for gils to envy the perfectly carved mannequins at the fashion stores for their height and 24 inch waist which is also the reason that many end up getting insecure about their body. Not cool!
But with changing times looks like brands are now accepting that beauty is beyond size and that all sizes are beautiful. Exactly why Nike store at the Oxford street, London has now put on plus size mannequins in a move to display diversity and cater to all women of all curves.
CNN Style reported that the main aim of the sportswear brand was, “To celebrate the diversity and inclusivity of sport, the space will not just celebrate local elite and grassroot athletes through visual content, but also show Nike plus size and para-sport mannequins for the first time on a retail space.”
Rooting for the brand’s initiative people took to Twitter to appreciate it.

It's more important to be healthy than it is to be skinny. Anything that promotes a healthy lifestyle is a plus in my book. Positive body image is important to mental health. Big is beautiful too.
