“Kimbho app is now ready with new and advanced features,” read a tweet by Managing Director Acharya Balkrishna. Further, he said: Patanjali will officially launch the app on August 27, 2018, after fixing the “shortcomings”, and it will also be available on the Apple App store shortly.
Note that, Patanjali had removed Kimbho on 31 May as it had security issues which were revealed by Elliot Anderson, the French security researcher had found security holes in Kimbho and he said that he could access all messages users were sending through this app.
Ok, I will stop here. The #Kimbho #android #app is a security disaster. I can access the messages of all the users…🤦♂️

Kimbho, on the other hand, had said that the app has gone down because of the unexpectedly high traffic. A tweet on the official page of Kimbho read “We are facing extremely high traffic on Kimbho. We are in process of upgrading our servers and will be back shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please stay tuned.”

Patanjali is looking to compete with popular chat platform Whatsapp using Kimbho. Patanjali’s spokesperson S K Tijarawala said in a recent interview: “We have put the trail version of Kimbho on the google play store, so that we come to know about the shortcoming. We are open for any amendments for any errors and we have invited feed back from the people also”.
“Now we are expecting millions download during the next 12 days of trail period and we have built a load capacity for that,” he added.
